families together and helping youth to successfully transition to
adulthood.

University of Wisconsin Children's Hospital
As
a complete children's medical and surgical center within University of
Wisconsin and Clinics, UW Children's Hospital offers advanced pediatric
care in every field. The hospital's fourfold mission-patient care,
education, research and community outreach upholds it's overall goal of
high quality health care for children.
In order to make the hospitalization experience more
positive, The University of Wisconsin Children's Hospital and Clinics,
soon to be called American Family Children's Hospital, is building a
world-class children's hospital in Madison solely dedicated to the care
and treatment of children and their families. To learn more about the
American Family Children's Hospital, visit www.nofinergift.org.
Children from all over Wisconsin and the nation receive
care at UW Children's Hospital. For several years, the NFL Alumni has
financially supported parents and family members with the unexpected costs
that accompany the hospitalization of a child. Housing, meals,
transportation and emergency assistance for families who travel a great
distance are some of their needs that have been met through the generosity
of the NFL Alumni fundraising efforts. With the continued financial
support of the NFL Alumni, the emotional response and normalization of the
hospital experience will be less of a challenge for our hospitalized
children and their families.
